These Terms cover details about the aspects of the platform relevant to instructors and are incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use, the general terms that govern your use of our platform. Any capitalised terms that aren’t defined in these Terms are defined as specified in the Terms of Use.
1. Instructor Obligations
As an instructor, you are responsible for all content that you post, including lectures, quizzes, coding exercises, practice tests, assignments, resources, answers, course landing page content, labs, assessments, and announcements (“Submitted Content”).
You represent and warrant that:
• You will provide and maintain accurate account information.
• You own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, permissions, and authority to authorize us to use your Submitted Content as specified in these Terms.
• Your Submitted Content will not violate or misuse the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• You have the required qualifications, credentials, and expertise (including education, training, knowledge, and skill sets) to teach and offer the courses.
• You will ensure a quality of service that meets the standards of your field and educational offerings in general.
You warrant that you will not:
• Post or provide any content or information that is improper, offensive, racist, cruel, unlawful, false, misleading, inaccurate, infringing, insulting, or libelous.
• Any unwanted or illegal advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, or any other kind of promotion (commercial or otherwise) posted or transmitted through the Services or to any user is prohibited.
• Use the Services for a business other than providing tutoring, teaching, and instructional services to students.
• Imitate someone else or get unlawful access to someone else’s account.
• Interfere with or otherwise prevent other instructors from providing their services or content.
• Abuse Agaram.LK resources, including support services.
2. License to Agaram.LK
By submitting content to Agaram.LK, you grant Agaram.LK the rights specified in these Terms of Use to offer, market, and otherwise utilize your submitted content. This includes the right to modify or add captions to ensure accessibility. You also authorize Agaram.LK to sublicense these rights to third parties, including organizations, for the purpose of providing online courses, classes, papers, academia, talents, and highlights.
Agaram.LK may record and use all or part of the submitted content for quality control purposes, as well as for delivering, marketing, promoting, demonstrating, or operating the online learning platform. By submitting content to Agaram.LK, you grant permission for Agaram.LK to use your name, likeness, voice, and image in connection with the offering, delivering, marketing, promoting, demonstrating, and selling the online learning platform, your submitted content, or Agaram.LK’s content. You waive any rights of privacy, publicity, or other similar rights to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. Trust and Safety
3.1 Agaram.LK Trust and Safety Policies
To ensure a safe and reliable learning environment on Agaram.LK, we have established the following Trust & Safety Policies:
Compliance with Policies:
a. Users, including instructors, must comply with Agaram.LK’s Trust & Safety policies, Restricted Topics policy, and any other content quality standards or policies set by Agaram.LK.
b. It is important to review these policies periodically to stay updated on any changes or updates.
Approval of Use:
a. Your use of Agaram.LK’s Services are subject to approval by Agaram.LK, which we may grant or deny at our sole discretion.
Content Removal and Account Actions:
a. Agaram.LK reserves the right to remove content, suspend payouts, or ban instructors without prior notice for various reasons, including:
• Non-compliance with our policies or legal terms.
• Content that does not meet our quality standards or negatively impacts the student experience.
• Instructor conduct that is harmful to Agaram.LK or that pulls Agaram.LK into discredit, disapproval, controversy, or humiliation.
• Engagement with marketers or business partners who violate Agaram.LK’s policies.
• Unfair competition, such as promoting off-site businesses in violation of Agaram.LK’s policies.
• Other reasons determined by Agaram.LK at its sole discretion.
Please note that these Trust and Safety Policies are in place to maintain a positive learning environment. Failure to comply with these policies may result in disciplinary actions, including content removal, suspension, or termination of instructor accounts.

3.2 Co-Instructors and Teaching Assistants on Agaram.LK
On Agaram.LK, you have the option to add other users as co-instructors or teaching assistants for the content you manage. However, there are guidelines and rules that must be followed when engaging in a co-instructor or teaching-assistant relationship. These rules are outlined in our Co-Instructor Relationship Rules and Guidelines.
By adding a co-instructor or teaching assistant, you grant them certain permissions and responsibilities that can impact your Agaram.LK account and the content you have submitted. It’s important to note that any violations of Agaram.LK’s terms and policies by your co-instructor or teaching assistant may have consequences for your account and the submitted content.
Please be aware that Agaram.LK is unable to provide guidance or mediate any disputes that may arise between you and your co-instructors or teaching assistants. It’s your responsibility to establish clear communication and expectations with them.
If your co-instructors have a designated revenue share, their share will be calculated based on the ratios you have specified in your Course Management settings at the time of purchase. Their share will be deducted from your earned revenue share accordingly.

3.3 Relationship to Other Users on Agaram.LK
As an instructor on Agaram.LK, it’s important to understand the nature of your relationship with students. Please note that instructors do not have a direct contractual relationship with students. You will only receive the information about students that is provided to you through us.
You are obligated to use the student data you receive solely for the purpose of providing your services to those students on the Agaram.LK platform. It is strictly prohibited to use the data for any other purposes or to solicit additional personal data from students. Additionally, you are not allowed to store students’ personal data outside the Agaram.LK platform.
It’s essential to respect the privacy and confidentiality of students’ personal information. You are responsible for indemnifying Agaram.LK against any claims that may arise as a result of your use of students’ personal data.

3.4 Course Creation and Maintenance
You are responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality course content on the Agaram.LK platform. This includes providing accurate and up-to-date information, delivering engaging and informative video lessons, and responding to student questions and inquiries in a timely manner. Additionally, you are required to ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA & QC) measures are implemented to maintain the integrity and standard of your course content. This involves regularly reviewing and assessing the course materials, seeking feedback from students, and making necessary improvements to enhance the overall learning experience.
3.5 Content Protection and Anti-Piracy Measures
At Agaram.LK, we prioritize content protection and take measures to combat piracy and unauthorized use. However, please note that we do not provide specialized anti-piracy vendors or services for safeguarding against unauthorized use of content.
As an instructor or content provider on Agaram.LK, you are solely responsible for the protection and security of your content. It is your responsibility to take necessary precautions to prevent unauthorized access, distribution, or misuse of your content.
While Agaram.LK strives to maintain a secure platform and implements general measures to protect content integrity, we cannot guarantee complete eradication of piracy or unauthorized use. We recommend that you employ your own content protection measures, such as copyright registration, watermarks, or encryption, to safeguard your intellectual property.
Please ensure that you understand and adhere to copyright laws and other applicable regulations to protect your content on Agaram.LK.
4. Pricing
4.1 Course Pricing and Promotions
You have the flexibility to determine the pricing of your courses on Agaram.LK, subject to the pricing and promotional policies set by us. We may offer discounts or promotions on your courses from time to time, and you agree to participate in such promotions as deemed appropriate by us.
4.2 Transaction Taxes
When a student enroll a course on Agaram.LK and transaction taxes such as local sales or use taxes, value-added taxes (VAT), or similar taxes (“Transaction Taxes”) are applicable, We are responsible for collecting and sending those Transaction Taxes to the appropriate tax authorities as required by applicable law. The specific taxes applicable to a student’s purchase of a course on Agaram.LK may vary depending on the area and the nature of the transaction. The exact amount of taxes charged to a student will depend on factors such as their location, the applicable tax laws of that region, and the type of course being purchased.
It’s important to note that tax rates and regulations may change over time, so the specific taxes applicable to a student’s purchase may vary. We will determine and apply the appropriate taxes based on the relevant laws and regulations in effect at the time of the transaction. We retain the right to modify the sale price as necessary to ensure consistency and take any necessary Transaction Taxes into consideration.
4.3 Promotional Programs
On Agaram.LK, we do not have a specific Promotions Policy in place. However, instructors still have the opportunity to actively contribute to the promotion and marketing of their courses. You have the flexibility to explore various promotional strategies, such as utilizing social media, creating engaging course descriptions, and engaging with potential students through our platform.
By taking an active role in promoting your courses, you can increase their visibility, attract more students, and maximize your revenue potential. We encourage instructors to advertise their expertise and creativity in marketing their courses effectively to reach a wider audience and increase enrollment.
5. Payments
5.1 Revenue Share
On Agaram.LK, we have a streamlined revenue-sharing model that focuses on maximizing your earnings. When a student purchases your Submitted Content, we calculate the gross amount of the sale as the amount received by Agaram.LK from the student (referred to as the “Gross Amount”).
From the Gross Amount, we deduct a small service and processing fee. The remaining amount after deductions is referred to as the “Net Amount.” As an instructor, we want to provide you with an attractive revenue share. 5.2 Discount Coupons
As an instructor on Agaram.LK, you have the exciting opportunity to generate discount coupons to offer certain items of your Submitted Content at a discounted price or even for free. These coupons allow you to attract more students and promote your courses effectively.
With our flexible coupon system, you can set the discount amount or percentage as per your preference. By generating and sharing these coupons with your audience, you can provide them with exclusive access to your courses at a discounted rate.
Once you have generated the coupon, you can share it with your audience through various channels, such as your website, social media platforms, email newsletters, or promotional campaigns. Encourage students to use the coupon code during the checkout process to avail the discounted price.

5.3 Refunds
You acknowledge and agree that students may have the right to receive a refund, as detailed in the Refund Policy. Instructors will not receive any revenue from transactions for which a refund has been granted under the Terms of Use.
If a student asks for a refund after we have paid the relevant instructor payment, we reserve the right to either (1) deduct the amount of the refund from the next payment sent to the instructor or (2) where no further payments are due to the instructor or the payments are insufficient to cover the refunded amounts, require the instructor to refund any amounts refunded to students for the instructor’s Submitted Content.
6. Trademarks
As a published instructor on Agaram.LK, you may use our trademarks in accordance with the following requirements:
• You are permitted to use the images of our trademarks that we provide to you. These images will be made available to you through any guidelines or resources we publish.
• You should only use our trademarks when promoting and selling your Submitted Content on Agaram.LK or when referring to your participation on Agaram.LK.
• If we request that you discontinue the use of our trademarks, you must comply immediately.
There are certain restrictions on the use of our trademarks:
• You must not use our trademarks in a misleading or harmful manner.
• You must not use our trademarks in a way that suggests or implies that we endorse, sponsor, or approve of your Submitted Content or services.
• You must not use our trademarks in a manner that violates applicable laws or in connection with obscene, indecent, or unlawful topics or materials.
It is important to adhere to these guidelines to ensure proper and responsible use of our trademarks.
